Autumn Update from the Knights of Middle England.
Another very busy season has passed for the Knights of Middle England, and even though the shows have more or less come to a close, we are having the busiest October & November for the last several years.
This is partly due to the vast range of services we still continue to offer keeping us all busy. 2009 saw a continued rise in our “Unique Medieval Stag & Hen” packages with most groups opting for our great value weekends with a difference that are open to everyone.
The complete knight package for hen and stag weekends and for those unique parties includes; Jousting activities on horseback, sword fighting training and archery, lunch, hog roast dinner, all drinks and B&B accommodation on site.
Jousting School
Our Jousting school continues to stay busy with all our unique and fun experience days fully booked throughout the season. The 'Knights of Middle England introduction to Jousting' has become quite renowned over the last 5 years and have grown not just in the quality of the experience but we have also consistently made sure that each day we run offers a new and exciting experience to each and every individual.
We run experience days throughout the year and we still have places left on 29th November 2009. Contact us for availability.
Had your taster? Wanting more?
Aside from the general experience days, we have had an overwhelming increase in the Private 2 hour lessons that are run throughout the week & weekends. These have proved popular not only with beginners looking for a more personal introduction to Jousting, but also those that have really enjoyed the level 1 experience days and are looking to gain a broader insight into the sport of Jousting.
Individuals get to explore more in depth training using all equipment, not just a lance, but also a shield, helmet and horse combined! Allowing them to become one step closer to being a real knight!
Following the fully booked Jousting Level 2 half day on the 14 November, we are releasing another Level 2 half day on Saturday 5th December for all those of you who have already come and had a go at jousting and would like to learn more.
For further details on the 2 hour private lessons or half day packages starting at £95pp/ block of 4 lessons at a reduced rate of £360 or the Level 2 half days for £99.00 please call or email.
Corporate Jousting Days
Businesses are becoming more taken with the idea of Corporate Jousting Days and again this year, despite the lack of corporate funds, our team building days with a difference are going from strength to strength!
Even though the majority of the employees have never sat on a horse before, we ensure a challenging, yet accomplishable day for all abilities.
Love is in the Air!
On a more romantic note, the chivalrous knights have been in demand all over the country to perform many a 'Guard of Honour' for a number of happy couples on their wedding day at both churches and receptions. We have also helped many bride’s dream weddings come true by leading them on a beautiful white charger to or from the church.
For more information on what we can offer for your special day please call or email for a wedding entertainment pack.
And Finally, yes here comes Christmas…
An experience voucher could be a perfect gift for Christmas!
Please call or email to buy vouchers direct from us. The voucher costs £165.00 and is valid for twelve months. |

News Flash
The main highlight of our 2009 show season was undoubtedly our audition in August for the 'H Factor', an equestrian themed talent competition. The winner will have the opportunity to perform their show at the prestigious international 'Horse of the Year Show' at the NEC in Birmingham in October 2010. We are through to the final and will be performing at 'The British Open Show Jumping Championships' at the NEC in April next year where audience text their votes and celebrity judges vote each night to see which display will make it through!
