Newsletter July 2008Current EventsEven though the 2008 season is well underway, the knight’s thirst for battle is still raging! Their quest - to bring the honor and chivalry of the medieval sport of jousting into the 21st century! Our noble knights are roaming the country, bringing the colour, excitement, speed and amazing skill to large audiences who have shown their huge appreciation with their will to participate. Early 2008 appearances in Yorkshire and Arley Hall in Cheshire receiving as always a fantastic reception! Our unique experience days have been filling up fast. Wannabe knights of all ages and abilities have been going back to the “days of old”, submerging themselves into our medieval environment. Dressed in armour and tabards, budding knights learn the tricks and skills of how the knights used to compete on the tournament field, with horses, shields, lances and how they fought in barbaric foot fights with medieval broad swords. Stag and Hen Do’sOver the years groups wanting to organise Stag and Hen Do’s have shot up! The Knights of Middle England offer a totally unique package tailored to suit your personal preferences, from buxom wenches for the stags to professional wine tasting for the hens! So if you’re a stag looking to challenge your mates or a hen wanting to show the men just what you can do! We will have the package to suit, with plenty of activities to work up an appetite for the mouth watering hog roast, after which you can party the night away in our medieval hall or retreat to our on site accommodation. We are continuing to offer our Unique Medieval Corporate Incentive Days and Wedding Packages which are tailored to suit. |
News FlashWe are currently taking bookings for Private Half Day Lessons. You will be taken by an instructor for a one to one session, developing your skills with a lance, shield and helm, striking the quintain with the ultimate goal of a contact joust against an instructor!
