Jousting lessons were the theme of the day at the Warwick International School of Riding when a television crew arrived to film a documentary.
Knights of Middle England has set up day courses in jousting as as alternative to more typical days out for any groups.
The student of the day was Alice Plunkett, television racing pundit and wife of renowned cross-country event rider William Fox-Pitt.
She tried her hand at jousting as part of a documentary series on all things equestrian, Horsetails which starts in October this year and will be shown on Animal Planet.
Proprietor Karl Ude-Martinez said: "Alice absolutely loved it. She's an experienced rider so picked things up very quickly, but complete novices will be able to get just as much fun out of this."
